- Beautiful location, perfect facilities and very friendly hosts.
Dunn Cruinn is as close as a B&B can get to being a 5* hotel. From the care and attention Mark and Daryl give you from the moment you arrive, the fantastic bed and facilities, the magnificent breakfasts, all topped off with a stupendous view of Skye. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
- The premises were in an idyllic location nestled in between small hills with excellent views to and across the loch. The bed was extra comfortable and the bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean. Our hosts, Daryl & Mark were simply excellent! Wonderful couple who were very friendly and helpful. They were a good source of local information on sights, attractions and places to eat. They even had pre-prepared Island maps which they loan to guests. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we were provided with fresh hot croissants the day we left as we had to catch an early ferry to Mallaig on the mainland.
- Wow! What a beautiful B&B. The enthusiastic owners made it complete. They were of great help and always in for a chat. We were looking for a beautiful place to stay on Skye, away from the crowds….. We picked the right place! The views are amazing. Fantastic breakfast, room, bed, shower…. everything!
- We had a wonderful stay at this B&B! Our hosts could not have been nicer, and we had many fine conversations with them throughout our stay, learning all about life on Skye. They could not have been more helpful with dining recommendations, directions, and touring advice. They even gave us an introduction to whisky! The common rooms are well thought out, with amazing large windows overlooking a gorgeous loch. The breakfasts were FANTASTIC! Delicious fresh fruit, homemade bread for toast, greek yogurt, nuts, etc, and “made to order” eggs and pancakes – yumm!
